A militant group in North East India assigns the handsome Longsing to infiltrate a village and recruit new members. The kind school teacher he volunteers with, opposes violence as the way forward, but the militia order Longsing to kill him. Disillusioned, Longsing leaves the militia and plans to build a peaceful future, but will fate allow it? Beautifully crafted drama.

Khanjan Kishore Nath's third feature Kangbo Aloti, The Lost Path, was at the Asia Pacific Script Lab 2019, Australia. His short Kachichinithu (The Boy with a Gun, 2020) won the National Award for best short film in 2020. His debut feature Chor (The Bicycle, 2018) has won awards at festivals worldwide. His second feature Ata Nirjon Duporiya (A Mid-day Without a Name, 2024) was released theatrically. The Lost Path was at the South Asian Film Festival of Montreal and Stuttgart Indian Film Festival. Nath, an Assamese filmmaker, was born in Karbi Anglong, Assam, and has lived lifelong with the Karbi indigenous tribe. The film is created with and by the Karbis, including the producer, entire cast and some crew, and the language is Karbi.
