Raunak Phadnis, a young man, sets out to seek the truth behind why his biological parents abandoned him. He opens up a hornet's nest when he learns that as a young girl, his mother was assaulted. 26 years later, the boy traced his mother, and learns the startling truth. As the boy stays back to get dignity and justice for his mother, he has to face a cathartic situation from which there is no turning back.

Ananth Narayan Mahadevan is an Indian filmmaker, writer, editor, actor, author, and television personality with over four decades of experience. A National Award-winning director, he received the honour for Mee Sindhutai Sapkal (2010). His acclaimed films include Gour Hari Dastaan, Rough Book, Doctor Rakhmabai, Mai Ghat, Bittersweet, It's Time to Go, and The Storyteller, based on a Satyajit Ray story. His films have screened at major international festivals including Busan, Palm Springs, IFFI, IFFK, and Cannes' Marché du Film. He is also an acclaimed television host, actor, and author of Once Upon a Prime Time.
