Synopsis
Changez, a young Pakistani Princeton-graduate working on Wall Street, is living the American dream with a lucrative job and a beautiful girlfriend. But in the days following 9/11 his charmed life takes a turn for the worse when his involvement in pro-Pakistan demonstrations raises the suspicions of those around him. Increasingly alienated, and with his relationship with his American girlfriend under strain, his homeland starts to call him. Should he stay in the so-called land of the free?
