Starting from June 2020, Mind Blowing Films and the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne are inviting some of India’s film industry legends to a virtual masterclass over Zoom.
Following the idea of a film club, we are discussing a different film each session and participants get the chance to ask our guests their questions at the end of the session.

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne has teamed up with four iconic Indian filmmakers, Rima Das, Imtiaz Ali, Kabir Khan and Onir, to create four short films on our core values of Diversity and Inclusivity. We are delighted and thrilled to have secured four of India’s most diverse voices of independent cinema for this project.
Under the motto of ”a film with you, about you and for you”, we are aiming to create a series of truly authentic short films made by our community.
Each short film will centre around one of these four themes: Sexuality, Gender, Disability and Race. The shorts will be compiled into one film titled My Melbourne which will premiere at IFFM 2021 before travelling on the international film circuit.
