Based on a novel by prolific author Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay, Asamapta explores the many challenges facing contemporary relationships. When maverick artist Indrajit visits his old college friend Moloy, he finds himself caught up in his friend’s marital troubles. Tensions soon boil over when he then runs into an old lover and her jealous husband, leading him to question his own position on life’s thorniest matters of the heart.
