Nepalese with English Subtitles
Based on a novel by Ganga Bahadur Lama, Taandro depicts the 2003 Maoist insurgency of Nepal. Dayahang Rai stars as Koshish, a rebel ambushed and wounded by the Royal Nepal Army. Injured and alone, Koshish must fight to survive in a remote village; battling villager hostilities and inner turmoil. Dramatic and absorbing, Taandro sheds light on a significant time in Nepali history.
