Known for playing roles that are unconventional, challenging and powerfully evoke crucial feminist themes, Taapsee Pannu consistently pushed the envelope, carving a niche for herself in the Indian film industry. She is an absolute delight on screen and a firebrand off it. She debuted in Bollywood with Chashme Buddoor (2013) after establishing herself in the Tamil and Telugu industries. It is her feisty, gritty performances in movies such as Baby (2015), Pink (2016), Badla (2019) and Thappad (2020) that make her a force to reckon with amongst film folk and audiences alike. Her latest release, Dobaaraa (2022) directed by Anurag Kashyap, is the Opening Night film at IFFM 2022, with the actress-director duo in attendance.
