Pragya Kapoor is a successful Film Producer, heading one of the
most sought out production houses in India; The Guy in the Sky Pictures, known for delivering content driven hits like Kedarnath(2018) and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui(2021).
Apart from donning a producer's hat, Pragya has been involved insome exemplary work in the field of environment conservation. Founder of Ek Saath -The Earth Foundation, Pragya remains on a constant pursuit to make the world a better place through her philanthropy efforts & eco-friendly initiatives.
She was awarded the business icon of the year 2021 by Zee business and Marksmen's daily.
She also won the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film award for her film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, for being India's first zero waste film
Shiv C. Shetty - Writer, Director
Shiv is a self-taught filmmaker from Mumbai. Maali is his debut feature film as a writer and director.
After his stint in the corporate world as a Media professional, Shiv decided to narrate meaningful stories through the medium of
Cinema.
Shiv has worked on creating India's first transgender band "6 Pack
Band" which was awarded Glass Lions Grand Prix at Cannes Lions 2016.
His compassion and love for nature drove him to tell the story of Maali, that reflects the reality of our current times; Mountain vs. Concrete jungle.
Sonali Rana - Writer, Creative Producer
Sonali is an ardent storyteller, deeply connected with mother nature and inspired by the elements of Indian Mythology. She started penning her thoughts on paper that eventually turned into stories. Her short stint at the corporate world made her realize telling stories in the form of cinema and staying connected with nature is her calling, following which she started her journey as a writer She donned many hats in the making of Maali besides being the writer and the creative producer of the film. Her effort and endeavor is to tell stories with a message and a hope that we make a kinder and more compassionate world around us.
