Celebrations are taking place at the beautifully scenic Alexandra Gardens (The Peppercorn Lawn). Alexandra Gardens are located in the centre of the city, just over the Yarra River Bridge — it’s only three minutes walking distance from Flinders Street station and opposite Hamer Hall, The Arts Centre.

We are honoured to have Shabana Azmi hoist the tricolour with distinguished guests and proud Indians present to mark this special occasion.
