| The Western Union Short Film Competition has proven to be a launching pad for up and coming filmmakers and things are no different for this year. After sifting through hundreds of entries, our winners were 'Makeover',a thought provoking piece on the desire to maintain one's youthful beauty; and 'Chasni', a poignant animation on the psychological aftermath of acid attacks. Don Percy's Makeover and Abhishek Verma's Chasni wowed audiences at the inaugral IFFM Awards at Princess Theatre, bringing the brilliant work of these filmmakers to a crowd of captive Indians. We look forward to seeing what the Western Union Short Film Competition for 2015 brings. |
