The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) is the largest festival of its kind in Australia, celebrating the best of Indian cinema in all its forms. The festival presents a diverse selection of movies that encapsulates the best of Indian cinema and films from the Indian sub-continent.

The festival provides an opportunity for filmmakers to showcase their film on an international platform, to be noticed by most eminent film personalities from India and Australia.

Race | Gender | Disability | Sexuality

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne has teamed up with four iconic Indian filmmakers, Rima Das, Imtiaz Ali, Kabir Khan and Onir, to create four short films on our core values of Diversity and Inclusivity.

Each short film will centre around one of these four themes: Sexuality, Gender, Disability and Race. The shorts will be compiled into one film titled My Melbourne which will premiere at IFFM 2021 before travelling on the international film circuit.
