Sulagna Chatterjee is an Indian screenwriter-director and a Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2025 honouree. Over the past decade, she has been telling stories about women navigating life in all its complexity — stories that explore identity, belonging, love, ambition, grief, and the beautifully flawed choices people make while trying to find themselves. Her writing credits include Netflix's Feels Like Ishq, Dice Media's Firsts, Adulting and MTV Nishedh. As a director, she has helmed three short films, including The Visit, and Pehli Date. Sulagna is also the founder of Women Film Circuit, a community of over 1,400 women working across the Indian film industry. Her short film Olakh (Identity) is screening at IFFM 2026.
