Sona Mohapatra is a versatile Indian singer, music composer, and lyricist known for her dynamic contributions to the music industry. Her career began with advertising jingles, including the iconic Tata Salt campaign with "Kal Ka Bharat Hai" and Close Up's "Paas Aao Na," aired across 13 countries for four consecutive years. In 2007, she released her debut album "Sona" on Sony Records, showcasing a blend of rock, rhythm and blues, Flamenco, Hindustani, Baul, and Romani music styles. Mohapatra gained further recognition for her singles like "Diljale" and "Paas Aao Na," and her song "Jiya Laage Na" from the movie "Talaash" received acclaim. She has also contributed to impactful projects like Aamir Khan's "Delhi Belly'' with the song "Bedardi Raja" and the theme songs for the TV show "Satyamev Jayate."
