Victoria is proudly home to the largest and most vibrant Indian communities in Australia, and as our nation’s creative state, it’s apt we present the largest annual celebration of Indian cinema in the southern hemisphere.

Now in its 17th year, the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) brings a rich and diverse program showcasing the very best and latest in Indian cinema to local audiences.

Alongside lighting up our cinema screens, IFFM events energise Melbourne and the glittering IFFM Awards Night attracts stars from the Indian and Australian film industries.

The Victorian Government is proud to support IFFM, strengthening Victoria’s reputation as a global screen destination, adding another drawcard to our vibrant winter cultural calendar and highlighting our proudly multicultural state.
