Victoria is home to a large, proud and vibrant Indian community so it's fitting that we present the largest annual celebration of Indian cinema in the southern hemisphere.
Now in its 15th year, the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne once again brings a wide- ranging program of the best and latest Indian cinema to local audiences.
As well as lighting up our cinema screens, IFFM brings a buzz to the city with events including the annual flag raising ceremony, a dazzling dance competition and the star-studded IFFM Awards Night.
This year IFFM is also supporting the next generation of film makers with the introduction of IFFM Baari, a talent development hub for emerging creatives from South Asian and traditionally under-represented backgrounds.
The Victorian Government is proud to support IFFM as part of our VICSCREEN strategy, strengthening Victoria's reputation as a centre of world-class screen culture and backing another drawcard creative event for our winter calendar.
