Naireeta began her career in Film Production at Delhi Doordarshan. She then moved to Mumbai and worked as an assistant director for 10 years. Naireeta also had a brief stint as a columnist at India Today, where she wrote about Indian Cinema and its journey over the years.
Naireeta made her debut as the writer and director of the 29-minute film 'Night Queen', starring internationally acclaimed actors Vipin Sharma and Sheeba Chadha. The film was presented by Anurag Kashyap and was nominated in three categories at the Kashish Pride Film Festival this year. 'Night Queen' won all three awards.
Naireeta currently resides in Mumbai with her daughter. She is developing feature-length films and a web series with notable studios.
