Kishore Dang, founder of K.R. Films International Production, is an accomplished producer-director with a career spanning over four decades, notably serving as the jury member for the 53rd National Film Awards by the Government of India. He began his journey under the mentorship of legendary filmmakers like Sir Richard Attenborough and Ismail Merchant, contributing to many iconic international films such as Gandhi, The Jungle Book, The Far Pavilions, The Young Indiana Jones and more. He applied this rich experience to produce his own portfolio of acclaimed shows, films and documentaries— including Aakhri Dastak, which explored the life of a soldier with HIV/AIDS, and Kab-Tak, which showcased the life of a child rag-picker (premiered in competition at the Mumbai International Film Festival).
