Sarika Jadhav is the writer and producer of Notice Me Now, a short film exploring parenting, teens, and changing family dynamics in urban life. The story idea came about when she read an online article on rising cyberbullying cases among Indian teens that she couldn't stop thinking about. This sparked an urgent need for her to open a conversation about toxic online behavior through film. Her writing is shaped by the insights she has gathered while living across different parts of the world, engaging with diverse cultures and observing the world around her.
A firm believer in socially conscious cinema as a way to spark conversation between stakeholders, she founded Indieink Films, a production company that supports independent emerging voices in cinema.
Notice Me Now (2025) had its World Premiere at the New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF) and reached the final round of the Dances with Films Festival in Hollywood, LA in 2026. She also co-produced Ustad Bantoo, which premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) in February 2026.
