Mithila is an Indian born, Aussie bred screenwriter/creator who has been writing popular television for over a decade. She currently has a slate of her own ambitious projects for a global audience with a keen eye on India. She is in post-production on her first ever creation, a sweeping romance FOUR YEARS LATER (SBS/Easy Tiger) shot in Mumbai, Jaipur and Sydney. Mithila is also adapting Alka Joshi's THE HENNA ARTIST for Miramax TV.
Mithila has most recently written on two seasons of BUMP (Stan, The CW and BBC) and four seasons of FIVE BEDROOMS (Paramount+/Peacock/BBC). She was Head Writer on THE UNLISTED (ABC/Netflix) on which she wrote several episodes including the pilot. The series won the International Youth Prize in 2020.
